Intermittent TPMS Light

I have been having an occasional issue where my tpms warning light comes on. Tires check fine, turn the car off and on, and the light is out. Have a customer today at my shop with the same problem. Mine is an '04 coupe, his is an '04 sedan. Is this common amongst the users? Are the sensor batteries just wearing out, or is it a reciever problem? Couldn't find any TSB's on the matter, though maybe someone here might have an answer. Didn't see anything in the searches. This has been happening for me about once a month or so.

Yea this happened to me, I took my 06 g35 coupe to discount tire and told them about my tmps light staying on. They checked it out and said that the tmps sensor broke and that my tire was not big enough to fit the sensor. And now their charging me $75 a sensor and bands to hold them down so my tire fits.
