Wow, your shocks must have been crap... usually you'll notice the ride is slightly firmer with 350z suspension (I did) but for most people, it's well worth it once they notice how the car just has a much better "feel" when driving. Plus it looks a lot better.
since everybody claims z suspension rides harder
thanks god i bought new suspension i love it !!! would recommend it to anybody who wants a mild drop and a better handle
