^You missed the fact that the coupe had the sport package.
Sport coupes (the ones with the rays) have revised Z springs in the back.

That's interesting. I didn't know revised Z rears were the same as revised sport coupe rears. Is it the same with the fronts as well?

Also, I was looking at liweih21's post in the marketplace and noticed his fronts have one pink and one white dot. I haven't seen any spring reference with that combo before.

Are you serious? I got my coupe springs from an 05 sport coupe... And Z springs unrevised. I put Z springs in front and Coupe in the rear. So I technically have unrevised Z in front and revised Z in the rear? Lol

Do the coupe sport springs (even though they're technically still revised z springs) drop only .5" rather than the full inch?

^Not really any such thing as "unrevised fronts" the "revised" thing only applies to the rear suspension.

No, coupe sport springs are EXACTLY the same as revised Z springs. I know this because I had both full Z suspension, and a full set of coupe springs in my possession at the same time. The rears were completely identical (actually I almost mixed them up by accident )
They have the same marks (red red purple) and were exactly the same length.

The front springs on the other hand, had different marks, and the coupe fronts were slightly longer (around 1/2") IDK how much those fronts would have lowered the car, as I never installed them.
If they were a softer rate though, it is possible that they might lower the car the same 1" even thought they were slightly longer, because the weight of the car could compress the softer springs more... I just really don't know.
I could try and contact the guy I sold them to and find out what he did with them.

Yep, those are the ones you sent me and they're installed on my car now.

That's what was throwing me off because I had seen a few different color combos for Coupe fronts including white and green/white, but not pink/white. Oh well, who knows.

^Oh yeah... that was you
How much did it drop the front? (or did you measure before/after?)

It seems like pink/white is a Z color also... actually, that might be what I have on mine now, I'll have to check and see.

I didn't do an exact before/after measurement, but it dropped the front between .75"-1". I have an X though so it theoretically dropped ~.5" more than a RWD would. With those in the front and sedan sports in the rear, I'm sitting slightly lower than a stock RWD which is what I was going for.

OP:
Look at Texan1's posts on this page to help you figure out how to identify the springs you're buying:
https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...on-pix-10.html

That whole thread is about this same topic. It gets pretty cluttered, but there is some good info in there (all you need is basically in 3 posts on that page). I dropped my 04 sedan on the unrevised z springs (to match my sport suspension shocks) and then found a set of non-sport coupe rears to even the drop out a bit. I'm on coupe 19s as well. The info on the dot colors in that thread was a huge help.

ok so i went through the link that ihaveamustang posted and i kind of came to the conclusion

that puttin on rear SPORT coupe revised springs and struts is the same as 350z revised suspension .....so im basicly doing a 1 "inch drop all around with a very stiff ride in the back and a uneven looking car in the back right

this is my setup

03- front 350z (unrevised) <<<<"no such thing" lol -----shocks and springs

05- rear sport coupe (revised) shocks springs
EQUAL === 350z full (revised) suspension

so much for the g/z drop !!!!

^I was in the same boat as you basically. Read about the "G/Z drop" and I had a full Z suspension from my cousin waiting to be installed.
So I went on ebay and bought a set of coupe springs... only to find out it was a sport pkg coupe and that the rear springs were identical to the ones I already had... so I just put the Z setup on and sold the coupe springs.

Now... as for your other questions. Look at the pics of my car... it's really not that much lower in the back... but if it's too much for your taste, you'll need non-sport coupe springs.
As for the ride, I really like the ride of the revised springs, not really too bumpy in the back, and the rebound is really nice (I've heard the unrevised z springs/shocks can be a bit bouncy)
Also, the revised setup is better handling.

^NP.
You know, the install isn't really that hard. You should see if there's someone local that would help you.
