bronze Nismo wheels

Can someone please post a picture of a G35 with the bronze Nismo LM-GT4's. Preferably a black G but any color will do. Even a crappy photoshop will do. I'm just trying to get a feel for what the color looks like on the car. Already did a search so please don't flame me.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

I was interested in that combo myself and couldn't find any pics. There are some pics of black 350Zs with bronze TE37 which is very similar to the Nismos. I ended up ordering the Bronze Nismos and I have a black coupe. Haven't installed them yet. Not sure I'll have them installed since I still have 9/32 tread on my OEM tires (new is 10/32) unless I find someone who wants to buy my 18" rims and tires without the TPS. Here's pic of one of the rims which arrived yesterday.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

IMO...too sport for the G. Those wheels whould look better on a Z. 5 Spoke wheels look a bit too rice. The G deserves more sophistication, again IMO.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

I think black and bronze is a nice combo. If I can find some cheap TPS, I'd install them tomorrow.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

5 spoke wheels are not rice. Look at pretty much every mercedes for 2005. All 5 spoke wheels. Not to start another 'what is rice' thread but do you even know what that means?

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

Black cars with bronze or gold wheels always look nice.... I don't know if anyone remembers the Lotus Type 72 F1 car? Thats the style and its great.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

I've decided to forget about the TPS and just get the wheels installed (tired of seeing them in boxes). I ordered some Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S (long enough name?) from TireRack, but they are out of stock of the 245s and don't know when the next shipment will be available (despite their website saying 10/25). Guess I'll have to wait a bit or pay a bit more from DiscountTire.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

Just make sure you check your tire pressure ~once a week and you'll be fine. Those are gonna look very good, my friend.

I'm looking for a set of these nismos in either silver or bronze for track wheels.

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

Yeh, I've seen them on a G before and they seemed to work ok. IMO, they look too... ...substantial... ...just too much visual mass for them to work on the Z very well. The Z seems to beg for something that looks lightweight.

Of course, I happen to think the bronze Volk CE28N looks great on the G... ...even a black G, so take it FWIW. lol

'05 IP(or ?) 6MT... ...Never too soon to think about modifications!!

Re: bronze Nismo wheels

I considered the CE28N in bronze, but I prefer less spokes. I also considered the TE37, but prefer an odd number of spokes. The Nismos are also lighter. If you're interested in Nismo rims, www.performancenissanparts.com is having a sale and the price is pretty good. You have to go through this link to get the discounted price: http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...threadid=91597
