Michelin pilot sport all season plus. One of the only Y rated tires that come with a mileage warranty. ( 45K)

The new conti DWS have been getting a lot of reviews. Only complaint I've read is soft sidewall but if you raise your pressure, it should fix that issue.

Anyone have any experiecne with the Continental contiprocontact? The guy here at Kost tire and auto said that he likes t he Mich A/S, but they are directional so can't be cross-rotated...and so the right side will get like 10000 less miles than the left. He likes the Contis.

Also, I am still sort of leaning towards the Mich...anyone know where I can find the best deal on them for the stock 17" on a G35x from 08?

On the touring size I'd look at the B-Stone Serenity and Mich Primacy MXV4. Both would be great a/s, ride, and quietness.

On the sport side Yoko's Envigor and Mich Sport AS+.

So I'm between the Michelin Pilot A/S plus and the Continental Extremecontact DWS...and maybe the Michelin primacy's (but lower on the list).

What would you guys choose, given similar price? I am looking for nice performance, but good gas mileage probably trumps that slightly. I've read somewhere peopel saying that the Mich pilot sports drop gas mileage several miles per gallon. I'm wondering how they compare to the contis...or to the Michelin primacy tires (I read that these are supposed to have better gas mileage).

Please comment--I'm near ready to buy.

PS--Neal, thanks for the response!

PS-quietness is far on the bottom of the list vs. fuel economy and performance

I got the Conti DWS for DD. They are quiet and good. Very good wet traction I am still amazed. Dry is alright.

Do the contis actually come in 225x55x17? I can't find them anywhere at that size.

Would you say the dry traction on the contis is better or worse than the Michelins? How about gas mileage? Anywhere I can find some data on rolling resistance on all these tires?
