Exclamation Big Mistake - Tire Inflators

Hi All,

I wish I would've know that these emergency spray quick fix flat are no good. But I found out the hard way when I went to few places and won't repair my tire because I used these sprays. I read the effing can again and no warning whatsoever on damaging tpms or irreparable tire.

Another possible damage is the tpms. crap crap crap!

Anyway question for you guys:

Dealer is quoting me 300 bucks for a sensor, I checked ebay found some reasonable prices but I wanted to consult with you guys. Anything I should know about these tpms?

Also, your thoughts on Dunlop v. Bridgestone tires?

I apologize if these has been asked or beaten to death before but I tried the search but didn't really find the answer.

Thanks!

I never use fix-a-flat. That stuff is terrible. Whoever you take the tire to for repair, MAKE sure you tell them that you've used it as it will get EVERYWHERE the tire is taken off.

For TPMS, I bought mine from InfinitiPartsUSA.com in February. Works like a charm!

Bridgestone vs Dunlop? That's too vague. Both manufacturers make good and crap tires; you need to tell us what tires you're comparing, not just the company.

Cool thanks I'll try them.

I'm comparing the Bridgestone Turanza's (E33s?) these are the OEM tires the car came in with and Dunlop SP Winter sport M3. These M3s are the one's that are on special right now, buy the 4th one for a buck.

Why are you comparing all seasons and winter tires? What sort of tire are you looking for?
