Rear Camber & Toe adjustment for only $90.00

Hey guys, check out this product. Apparently SPC sells camber and toe bolts for $90 for the rear end of our cars. This is much cheaper than the rear camber arm option.

Does anyone know what... "Adjustment slots will need to be elongated using rotary files..." actually means? Does this mean that we'd need to hack away at a stock part of our cars?

I would hazard a guess that that won't do the trick just by elongating one bolt. I don't see how you can affect Camber and Toe with just that. Of course I could be wrong

I think the advertisment is misleading. I have the SPC toe/camber kit and it comes with 2 camber arms and 2 toe bolts. I'm guessing what the link points to is just for the toe bolts.

BTW, Todd, if your interested, I'm not going to use my SPC toe/camber kit since the dealership was able to get my alignment within spec. Let me know if your interested in it.

Jeff, what are you doing today at 3pm? I'll be at Racing Zone. Give me a call.

What? You think that John Kerry is not consistent?

Neff,
Those camber bolts will indeed work very nicely. The only caveat is having have to open up the bolt hole via filing. It's not a drastic one that's likely to compromise structural integreity, however, but none the less you are cutting into ur baby.

Extra camber adjustment is not achieved via lengthening of the bolt. It is the 'cam' portion that has been made larger ... increasing the adjustable range. Think of it as running a camshaft w. higher lift porfile.

THX723 is right, its in the cam of the bolt. I use ingulls or ingalls one before on my previous car. I would prefer control arms though.

I know this is a VERY old thread, but does someone have pics of how this looks installed. I am in need of a rear camber kit. Or any suggestions of how a good camber kit would work? I would like to be able to use the stock springs cups as well. Thanks and sorry for reopening this.
