Wheels & Tires Grabbing the road and stopping.

225/55 instead of 225/50/17? Ok?

225/55 will not rub on a sedan front or rear. they fit great. However you will notice the difference front to rear..

If I were to put those on a coupe I would put the 225/50 or 225/45. It willl look funky on a coupe but it will work fine.

Good advice guys, thx. If u have em on the sedan, I guess the coupe will be ok too. Maybe the coupe will have less slat to the nose with fatter tires.

This is for front tires which are hard to find. Will this small sidewall difference be a big problem?

i'm more concern about the outside diameter.
225/50 is 27.86" and 225/55 is 28.74".almost an inch bigger.
may have rubbing issue.
