I recently got my self a set of 19x9.5 wheels all around (there is no wider then that). These are German wheels and need to be converted to work on the G. Therefore, I purchased a set of converters that are 1.25" wide. This is more than what I wanted but there was no thinner for the specific bolt pattern conversion that I needed.
Question is: I want to run wide tires on these. I was thinking 285/35 for the rear and 255/35 for the front. I will be rolling the fenders but will I be able to run these tires along with these spacers and an aggressive fender roll??

I also have a megan caber kit going on soon so maybe I can adjust that to a good level that will help run this fitment and not eat away from the tires as much.

but if u must 245/35front 275/30 rear will work for aggressive look from the back.

Personally I'd just do 245/35 all around, drop it and space it as needed.

285's are def gonna hang over slightly. i have a 10 inch wheel and my 275 sits perfect, if i went with any bigger im sure itd look foolish. do what ^ said. 245's all around

245's is good for the front but not the back. Plus, my bro has 285 on his wheels and there 9.5" VMR's, looks good. I'm not a stretched tire person, I like that wide look. So are you guys saying 275/30 would be best? What about 275/35 b/c we have bad roads here in NJ so i need extra thickness.
Main question I have is will I be able to run these sizes with aggressive roll and if I have to do negative camber, how negative do I have to go??

Yes they are VMR's but I wont say which ones.

Id just run 245s all around... Avoid issue.

2. You didn't research
3. Coupe or sedan?
4. Everyone in this thread can't help you, they never asked the offsets. If the offsets are +20 you're ****ed and these won't work for you with big tires.
5. you can't run 285/35 and 255/35 they are completely wrong sizes, you need to drop the sidewall in the rear in order to make the tires work without tripping out your VDC

Now, I can help you. What are the offsets on your wheels? Do you drive a coupe or a sedan?

My wheels are 19x9.5+45 and 19x9.5+33. I sort of forgot but I remember the VMR member telling me to run the +45 in front and these along with the 31mm converters should be fine. For the tires, I think I will go with 265/35 rear and 255/35 front if that works??

OP, that will work fine, but I'd recommend rolling the rear fenders.

255/35 285/35 setups on the G/Z have been done countless times without tripping the VDC, Blain.

285/35/19 is only .17" taller in overall diameter than the factory 245/45/18 rear tires. 255/35/19 is only .06" taller in overall diameter than the factory 225/45/18 tires. Both are within the 3% tolerance for VDC and can be safely run.

If you're going with the 285/35 setup, i would put the +45's on the rear with the 31mm adapters making the effective offset +14. You'll need to have atleast a 2" drop and -3 camber to make it work, even with an aggressive rear fender roll.

The 255/35's will be hard to fit up front being at 9.5 +2.

If i were you, i'd run 255/40/19 all around since the wheels aren't staggered. That will give you a nice meaty tire and still look pretty good.

When I we ran my front wheels on my buddies sedan and his rear wheels. (similar stagger)

the car couldn't launch. It may not trip the VDC, but it definitely will not allow the car to drive in a proper manner.

The issue isn't the just difference from stock, it's the change in overall diameter that confuses the car. With a 255/285 stagger it's nearly an inch taller in the rear, not only does it look stupid it is not optimal to run a rake.

That's for a sedan.

The coupe comes with the .7" stagger from the factory, it's made for the raked look.
