Exclamation HELP!! 0% traction in wet!!

well let me start off by saying that i have nitto invos on the stock OEM 19's RAYS and i have lowered the car on tanabe df210 1.7F 1.3R and i have the iciba rear camber kit w/ toe bolts installed on my car.

the tires only have 8k miles on them ( 245/35/19F 275/35/19R) and i installed the suspension mod around 5k miles and did an alignment the same day everything was installed.

so to get down to the point i live in Florida and is hasnt rained basically all winter until today. after realizing that anything over 30mph the car starts to fishtail reeeeealy badly so then i kinda figured out that something is wrong.

after my terrifying drive i got back home any saw that the tires were completely bald on the outer edge (which for the invo is the part that provides the traction for wet whether) i was stunned and really pissed at myself. btw the front tires are fine and they are sitting on natural camber.

sooo i have to change atleast the back tires. but tomorrow im going to the local tire shop and ask them wtf is causing all of this tire wear so fast.
but ya so ill be looking for cheaper tires (probably going to go with 265 or 255 in rear now)...

im gona do some research on good tires but do you guys have any suggestions??

any help is greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

update: now thinking about the hankook ventus v12 so far....all the tire reviews that ive been reading about are old like 2008 and prior LOL but im getting sumwhere :P

hmmm just figured out that the rear toe was way off making the outer part of the edges of the tire wear off really badly... CASE CLOSED

Not quite. The cause of you problem is probably more important to find out than what happened as a result. The root problem was most likely that you had the alignment done the same day as install. The proper way is to install close to specs then ride around for a week or so to let the suspension mods settle.

Or you just have a heavy foot. Leave the VDC on also. It helps!

How new are the tires?

New tires still have the non-stick residue from the Cast at the tire factory, which could give you the fishtail!
