Hey guys, I'm getting new tires on my 19's, I've decided on a 245/35/19 for the fronts, but I can not get a definitive answer as to whether or not the 255/35/19's will work on the rear, or will I need to go with the 255/40/19 to get the VDC and abs to stay sane?

I looked through the end all be all thread, but there were mixed answers as to if the 255/35's will work or not.

Please let me know guys, thanks!!

You can run that if you want, but I'd suggest a 235/40 for the front.

Nice, I wanted a Z pretty badly, but I went with the G instead, more seating ftw.

Btw, i meant to put 245/35 in the op.

You should be fine - the rears are still larger in overall diameter than the fronts. It's only when you get the fronts larger than the rears that you run into issues.

Those sizes will work fine and won't trigger any VDC problems. 245/35 and 255/35 is my current and favorite size set-up.

Question to anyone: Does the aspect ratio of the tires have to be the same?

^ no but the % difference has to be within 4% to keep the vdc happy

Yes you can, I'm running 245/255x35x19 with no issues.

Are your rear rims wider?
