Those tires are less than a month bought the car second week of may. My wife was driving then she says the car started fishtailing. She got over ASAP and safely. No low pressure indication, no vibration noise or humming. When the car stoped she saw the tire go rolling. Even the Allstate adjuster has never seen this in a new tire. Either way they are going after the dealership for damages

yea after i looked at the pics again i've never seen a sidewall look like that, glad to hear everyone was ok, my tire pretty much desintegrated once it hit the wear bars, my own fault for not replacing it sooner

Worn down is one thing, but brand new yeah something isn't right with that. I don't trust the other 3 tires. I requested that the dealership put the tires that go on the 19's from the factory on. Bridgestone potenzas I think. Those should of been installed being that's what they come with from the factory.

Thankfully that kind of issue is uncommon from any maker. You just got lucky. Sorry to hear your troubles The tire profile seems rather low for that wheel on the G though, what size was it?

Yeah it's a cluster right now lol the tire size was 245/40/19 I'm assuming that's the correct size for the rear wheel? Like I said in my last post I want to know why they didn't install potenzas? I didnt even know I had staggered rims or the sport package and suspension up until this tire bs

I think that size is right for an '07 sedan. That's still crazy the way it sheared off like that though.

I can only guess why they didn't install Potenza's -- cost and availability. If i was in your shoes i would actually be happy they didn't put the Potenza's on. Then again, given your experience...

I don't care what they put on it as long as those Hanokooks are off. Allstate had the car towed back to the dealership I purchased it at today. Fingers crossed they own up to it and pay for the damages based on the pictures even the adjuster agreed that isn't normal. But if the dealership doesn't except responsibility it's going to go to the next step. But out of my hands thank god for insurance

225/45/r19 for the coupe front? And 245/40/r19 for coupe rear?

They have 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rear tires installed right now. Didn't notice an r is it the same tire or is the wrong one installed

I think he means "r" for "radius" of the wheel haha. Seems you got a 1 in a million lottery ticket, for an exploding sidewall....Hankooks seem to get the best of reviews, so I think the dealer did you a solid by putting those on.

That's just it the tire didn't explode. That is shredded. I have had blow outs before ad it look nothing like that. Even the adjuster and the Allstate claims guy that saw the tire agree it's not a blow out. That's why they are going to take action aginst the dealership if they don't take responsibility. Good tire or not I don't trust them! My thing is what if the other 3 fail and this time I have my kids in the car. When it happend my wife was driving thank god she got over ok she said she almost got hit.

Was going to add the next time i have my kids and the the other tires fail and this time I get hit. I have to disagree the dealership f'ed me over. Should of just put the normal own spec. Even the claims guy and my friend at a Nissan dealership said they should of put oem spec not aftermarket. I'll get it back take it to costco
And get a set of michlen all season tires. Never been a fan of summer tires.
