Inner wall cracked...
I have the Dunlop sp signatures in 215/55-17 on my stock 17".
I have a sedan which is lowered.
All four tires has cracks on the inner side walls. Cracks are 1-7 inches long, all around. What would cause these cracks? I brought these tires in 12/2009. Got around 20k miles on them. I still have a little bit of treads left.
Any body else experience this b4? It seems very dangerous.

Hey guys.,
It's amazing how these tires are all cracked on the inner part of the wall. I think it might be a problem with the tire material. I asked around, people are saying that the inner wall shouldn't be cracked like this because the car is lowered. It should only affect the tire treads area, if my camber or toe is out of wack.
I will contact the tire manufacturer and ask for some sort of reimbursement. Hope they give me at least a little bit.
I do have 19" tires and rims waiting for installation this weekend.
Here are some pics of the cracked inner wall. I just took pics of couple of wheels but every 4 corner has this problem.
What do you guys think..???
thanks..

Sounds more like impact damage. Shorter walls/rough roads and it does not take much to damage a tires inner liner. Time to replace them, doubt the tire company will consider it a warranty issue. I would take them to a shop that carries the brand they are for inspection. If warrantable all can be taken care of on the spot, if not then it's time for a replacement(s).
