I changed from Nitto NT555's to Falken 452's.
The road noise change is very minimal and could be due to the tire brand and not the sizes. I am happy with the new tires, they look a lot better on my car and handle well. Overall I'm very pleased.

Thanks so much for all your replies and advice!!! So I put the Continental DWS 245-35-20 and 275-35-20 on my car. The difference is really significant. The ride feels almost just like my rental G37 with 17s!!! I'm really surprised how much it makes a difference. One thing I'm a bit worried about it that that rear tire may be a bit too tall. I'm haven't had any rubbing yet but it doesn't leave much space at all for the suspension. Also, I've read that people have had bearing issues with a 275-35-20 in the rear? Any of you hear about that? Luckily, America Tire Company is really nice and will change me out to the Continental DWS 275-30-20 if I have any problems. Thoughts?

I would swap the rear tires out for the 275/30/20, a 275/35/20 is pretty tall.

I think the only way to get a softer ride is taller sidewalls because my setup 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 vs my wifes setup 245/40/20 (very comfortable ride)

I dont think that you will notice much if any change in ride quility by changing brands. What suspension are you on?

Yeah. Looks like I'm going to want to go back to 19s or 18s and get that high sidewall
