If you don't do this 90% of the time it will be OK, but if you corner hard, or hit a bump in the corner, it will rub. Because if you try and roll that lip yourself it will often crack the paint on the edge and can lead to rust and paint work in the future.
Couldn't cutting the lip lead to rust also? since the edge of the part you cut off will be exposed to water since its not being protected by a clearcoat like it is from the factory.

Yes it could, but you can just use some touch-up paint along the edge where you have cut. At least you will have a nice edge on the inside, if you roll it you run the risk of it pealing on the outside of the quarter where you can see it.

Do you know if iforged makes all there wheels the same offset for coupes with brembos? cause maybe I have a set that isn't as agressive as yours cause by the look of it I think I have some room to upgrade to the 285 with out rubbing and that with the spacers I pretty sure I can clear the fender when I take the spacers out.
