Did you have any of the problems that were mentioned above?

Hows the tread wear? Even with camber?

How much camber were you running? Did they wear quick? My buddy had a set and said he had to get new ones at 8K.

All i can say is, stay AWAY from Falken! I only hear bad stories about them. Stick w/ the Nitto.

Second set of Falken 452's and all I can say, never been happier with any tires. Nitto 555's were the worst tires I ever had, on any car. Bridgestone Potenza were starting to wear at 11K.
Disclaimer, even though I have a 6spd. with all breathing mods available and sport premium package, limited spirited driving. Right now my rears have 30K and they're half way done, my fronts have 17K and look new. Again, that's on stock wheels, no camber wear whatsoever.

So decided to get the NegoGens. I have a noob question though. I was on the Nitto website looking at the 225/40/18 NeoGen and the width spec states 7.5-(8.0)-9.0. So is the 8.0 the ideal width for the tire and the 7.5 and 9.0 are the min and max widths the tire can fit on? I'll be putting the 225 on a 8.5 rim.

Yes the 7.5" - 9" width is what they recommend. The 8.5" wide wheel that you are running falls within that range so i'm not sure what you are trying to ask. The "ideal" wheel width is what they specified. Obviously you can venture outside that range(stretched tires as an example), but thats what they recommend.
