1.8 deg isn't bad. Nice job on the traction problems

the INVO is a good comparision to the V12, the PS2 is like one step above and the RS3, is you even think that's a comparison then

buy some R888, problem solved

Eh, I would not get All Seasons if you want a gripy tire, they are 500A A

While the V12 ventus is 280 AA A

Traction wise the V12 ventus is a alot better and on the track will be a lot better.

Lower the Tread Wear the gripper they should be. Because they use softer compound.

I'm pushing 280hp on a 6mt with V12's and dont have a single traction issue. Suspension is stock and im still running the factory Rays and stock tire sizes. I must say they are not that great on the track but on the road they dont let loose in a strait line.

The Nitto NT05's (200 treadwear) are a good choice, and the Hankook RS-3's (140 treadwear) are even better. I've run Toyo, Falken, Nitto, and now the Hankooks, all on the street and track, and the RS-3's feel real similar to my Nitto NT01 (100 treadwear) track tires - VERY sticky, and extremely predictable.

Thanks Zach, I'll look into those, are they good for DD?

I think I'm looking for something that doesn't exist: a super grippy tire with decent tread life that rides smooth and quiet. And all of that for under $250.

If you push them on the road in turns do they have issues? I'm starting to think maybe I got a bad set of tires in the rear, because when I push her, the fronts don't have the traction issues the rears do. I'm looking hard at the NT-05s, just wondering how long they will last.

Why not keep the Hankook V12's up front and run the S Drives in the rear?

I thought about that but I don't want to run 2 different tires. Seems that could cause issues handling on the track. For a DD car that would work just fine.

My NT05's lasted awhile, even with a few events on them and were good for daily driving. They are softer, and will definitely wear out faster than the V12's, but for the increased performance the NT05's offer they seems like a good compromise. The only time I noticed increased noise from them was towards the end of their life (but my car is a bad judge for tire noise since it's gutted).

NT05s are cool but after a couple heat cycles they loose there edge.

just something to think about.

Do you have any experience with the Nitto Invos? They seem to get good reviews for grip and being quiet and they help fight camber wear which might work for me since my camber's not too far off of stock. I just haven't found anyone who's run them both to compare other than ttrank.

I've read a lot of reviews on the NT05 on Vette forums and other sites and that's the first I've heard of that. ttrank didn't mention it either here; https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...highlight=NT05 He was impressed at how they held up under the heat from the track.

Good to know another viewpoint though, thanks.

No sorry, I've only run the NT05's and NT01's.

I ran the INVO as my first set on my Z days ago, they're cool with decent life. What are looking for out of a tire?
