Question Yokohama YK580's?

I was originally going to purchase the Yokohama AVID Envigors but I called Discount Tire and asked them about the pricing when the representative recommended these YK580's. He said they have better performance and treadlife than the Envigors and they're also cheaper.

I've been searching all over for anything about these tires but I haven't seemed to pick up anything. They're sold at discounttire.com and there's no reviews. Anyone know anyone running these tires or have any information about them?

Thanks!

These tire are the new version of the YK520. They have an assymetrical tread pattern. 580 tread wear rating. And a 60,000 mile warranty. They offer them in a wide range of sizes. My customer have had nothin but good things to say about these.

I believe this tire is made exclusively for tire shops like tire kingdom, NTB, Discount Tire etc. I had the Yoko AVID v4s tire which was very similar to the YK520. I really liked the yokos. I just got dunlop sport signature sports A/S tires about 6 months ago (tirerack had a good deal on them and they also had good reviews). So far so good. The Yokos had a little bit better grip IMO though. I got 35k miles out of them.
