Worn rear + new front = low trac?
Worn rear + new front = low trac?
I just got back from the dealer to diagnose low trac and VDC off lights that wont turn off. I was told the yaw rate sensor is bad (the sensor that controls the traction control).
My question - I just had the front tires replaced under road hazard waranty so they're brand new. Now my rear tires are at about 4/10ths and nearly shot. Would the computer trip these lights because the rear tires are spinning slightly faster than the front tires because they're worn?
What do you all think?

I had my "Slip" light come on occasionally on turns and hard downshifts when my tires were almost dead. Replaced all four and the problem never came back.
Not exactly the same problem, but maybe this will help. Just replace the rears and see what happens.
