To all those with TEIN BASICS....

Okay, I should be receiving my set of Tein Basics any day now. Instead of playing around with the height setting adjustments, I am hoping to get some input from my fellow g35 drivers. So here are my questions:

1) How many threads do you have above the locking collars of the shock housing (front/rear)?
2) What is the approx drop that these setting provide you?
3) Could you please post some pics?

My intention is to adjust the ride height settings before I install the coilovers onto my car. ANY and ALL help will be appreciated!!!

In all reality, you cannot really set them according to thread count - every car is a little different, even side to side. Eventually the drivers' side will be lower than passenger - just by default. Unfortunately, setting ride height on coil overs will always be a true trial and error process.

Thats definately true, my fiance has the tein Basics on her IS300 and initially i thought if you have the rings on the same number of perches all around the car will be even, well i was totally wrong. We had to play with it for a few hours to get it right. I think you should definately measure how far away the center of the rim is to the bottom of the fender on each side, thats the best way to get it even IMO.
