Springs

Im a noobie when it comes to suspension. But I see similar questions roaming around the forums so here goes...
Im about to get in some Volk rims, and probably will get springs to get rid of wheel gap. I know alot of people have Eibach, but I hear they aren't that great. I want the same ride as stock. I dont want any bounce. I just strictly want to get rid of wheel gap and am looking for a subtle drop. Also, I dont want other problems to occur such as camber probs, or anything else that is related to lowering your car. Ive heard Hotchks springs is the way to go considering my requests. So basically, just want to get rid of wheel gap without sacrificing stock ride. And also dont want problems I wouldnt get without lowering the car. Experts, shoot away! Thanks

Search for posts by Gseadan35 on suspension. He is a great suspension resource with technical and practical advice - very informative, which will help with your decision process. Good luck!

What exactly are you hearing about the eibach's that they aren't great?
Have you looked at the spring rates? Probably one of the best in terms
of comfort and neutral handling bias. I think they are great springs
especially when combined with a swaybar set.

I just read from a few posts around the forum. But my friend who has Eibach's say they are great. He also told me there wont be a camber problem and that when I get an alignment the person can adjust it back to how it was stock? Im looking for a subtle drop. barely less than an inch. maybe .7 or around there. I just want to get rid of the wheel gap without other problems occuring thats all.

I guess my main question is...which springs do I have to choose from for me to be able to correct my camber while getting an alignment. eibach? hotchkis? tein? how low are the drops?

That's not completely correct, but the camber does come close to stock if you get an alignment. The front camber is not adjustable in factory form....you'll end up around
-1.8 in the front and about close to -3 in the back without camber rods for the back.

From the pict I saw of the hotchikis springs, the drop was about 1" similar to that
of S-techs and Eibachs (my Eibach rears dropped more like 1.3-1.4"). Since you're
only going for dressup, how about the H-techs?
