Looking to pick up some tires strictly for track use. Have recently caught wind of the new Hankook ventus TD? The pricing seems reasonable. How would these compare to toyo r888?

My G is pretty much stock as far as power goes. I have bc coils / sways.
not really looking to break track records just have something designated to track use. since burning up my street tires blows . How much live do people get on average with such a low treadwear?

 

well the last tires i ran on the track where proxy4's.. which werent bad... i have no experience with slicks just street tires

 

Just heard about these yesterday and would be interested in seeing some more info on them as well. They look promising.

The Hankook RS3 is still a good bargain to consider as well.

 

sorry for the delayed response.. .yes right now just running oem wheels.... getting ready to stup up to something wider and lighter thinking rpf01... rs3 do look like a great bargain.... are rs3 considered r-comp? any experience between lets say something like a rs3 vs ventus td? will i notice a huge difference on the track?
