3mm Spacers - Hubcentric Required?

As the title states, are hubcentric spacers required for 3mm spacers? Upon some research, it seems like the wheels will still be able to sit on the center hub of the car with 3mm lugcentric spacers. I did find a shop that can custom make 3mm hubcentric spacers that will be hubcentric to the car and wheelcentric to my wheels for around $85. Would this be necessary or would I be able to get by with lugcentric spacers for about $25? I have already ruled out those universal 3mm spacers.

Reason I need 3mm spacers is for my wheels to clear my front brakes. Thanks in advance!

IMO dont go cheap on the car even if its 3mm spacers, if they can make it hub centric go for it and not risk any wheel wobble

Honestly for the price difference I'd go for hubcentric spacers. Buy once, cry once! You don't want to have to go back and do things right the second time when you could have avoided it the first time.

Thanks for the input. Another question.. would extended studs be required when using 3mm spacers?

Lots of people run 3-5mm spacers without extended studs, however if possible I'd always recommend getting studs that are 3mm longer than what you are using now.
