well thats an interesting camber wear...?

anyone ever seen this before? I know I need an rear alignment but this is from the fronts, but this is only a couple weeks since the drop, and only something like 1.7deg negative in the front. I was informed that everything else up front checked out fine for front alignment...?

Funny thing is, this doesn't go all the way around the circumference of the tire, it's only about half the tire, maybe a little more. The area of the tire that isnt like this looks fine. Nothing is rubbing or cutting into the tire.

Interesting wear indeed, but I don't think that's entirely due to camber. I've had similar wear in the past though.

gettin new tires on Monday. Unfortunately i cant get into the shop until after I get tires to have everything checked out again. The crappy part is i have to pull the bumper, fenders, and side skirts to bring it in because its too low to fit on any alignment racks and you cant adjust the camber in the front with fenders on unless you drop the struts

Your camber should not do that to your tire. That look like its from your TOE specs or something is wrong with your suspension

+1

When I had similar wear in the past it was always due to my toe being out of spec.

I would guess your toe is pointed inward... Camber doesn't really wear done your tires that much, especially in such little time... What is your toe at?

I'm not saying that the camber did that, I'm saying they cant adjust anything for camber without the fenders off. I wanted to bring the camber in just a touch when i get it aligned again. I'm just confused as to why its only half the circumference of the tire that is like that? Hoping it was just a faulty tire.

I had it in for an alignment right after I installed the coils and they said the front was in spec minus the camber being negative. Shops here arent used to anyone asking to run negative camber so they get rather confused when you want specific angles. I wont be going back to the same place though, not only do they apparently suck at alignments, but they also neglected to tell me the car wont fit on their rack without scraping really bad, and they just forced it on and got it hung up in the middle...
