Spring advice

Ok I did some searches, but a lot of people left out what wheels they were running so forgive me for asking I am looking for springs that will lower my car an inch or reasonable without rubbing. I would like to avoid any other kits for the time being. I have an 04 with 18" stock wheels and may keep it that way. I will have a custom stereo in the back so added weight to keep in mind. Once the warranty is up the sky will be the limit (hey its my first new car at 33 years old lol). SC and a pile of goodies will be in there then. I just want to build a bit at a time without ruining any warranty problems. I am not afraid to mod as my Cherokee has a 7.5" lift with 35" tires. I am just getting used to the idea of not working on a vehicle all the time

Thanks
Andrew

Only thing that comes to mind that your at risk the warranty and the suspension is voiding any warranty on the shocks and being able to make a claim if you should have tire feathering. Frankly though your shocks will wear out anyhow and I've never seen or heard of a G where Infiniti did a warranty replacement of oem tires do to feathering. I would do a spring install, we have not seen issues with aftermarket spring installs and premature shock wear.

The other thing that come's to mind is to speak to your dealer and ask them if they can get ahold of the Nismo S-tune suspension. If installed by your dealer, your factory warrany applies. For the coupe the setup does raise spring rates up and the car will ride and drive more firmly. The catch will be that their are better choices that you can make outside of your warranty concerns.
