how wide of a tire can you comfortably fit in the rear of an 06g without it sticking out past the quarters?

Any other information? Tire sizing you want to run?

We've put 19x11s on the rear of coupes without any issues, but it will really depend on a few things.

You can make a 305 fit with the right offset (roughly +25) But you need to avoid having any camber or the wheel will hit the strut.

Also keep in mind, this will be purely for aesthetics and your car will actually feel sluggish once you put that large of a tire on it.

Because the car has no need for a huge and heavy 305 tire.

These cars can barely spin 275s (definitely can't spin quality 275s)

A 305 can fit on a 19x11 pretty easily. Hopefully your car can make that sized tire work though! What do you need a 305 for?

I have a 305 (hankook v12) on a 19x11+23 (Forgestar F14), around -3-deg camber no issues other than camber wear...I do have rolled fenders but it doesnt require it unless you run closer to a -2-deg camber range or less.

Then you shouldn't have asked why would it feel more sluggish! lol

Just make sure you buy nice tires... 325 cheapo tires are as good as 265 Michelin PS2s.

You have the LS2 in the car though? Pics!!!! After seeing Edafe's LS1 build I've been dying for more vettsans.

That's true, but if you're going to go through the extra lengths to get the power and whatnot, why not just take that last step to make sure it's all being delivered properly?
