Haven't found a 16" steel with enough brake clearance yet.

^ For oem brakes?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Y33 Q45 which have brakes similar in size to brembo pack G35s and 350z have 16" wheel options and can run 16" steelies.

I don't have the CAD's on each caliper in front of me, but we've not found any 16's (steel or alloy) that clear those brakes. The brakes from a 1997 Q might be similar in size to an 06, but similar doesn't usually cut it in the clearance world.
