I am curently running 245/45/19 on my fronts 285/35/19 on back was wondering how big I would need to go in the back so my traction thing wont kick in would 285/40/19 do the trick I know I could get smaller ones up front but I rather have a bigger tire since im not the only one that drives it thanks please donr respond to get the right tires .

Hate to be the one to tell you but you need to get the right tires. The diameters of your current tires are different by 3% which is where the VDC starts to have issues.

Yes I know there too tall but thats not what im asking im asking what size would in need in the back to make it work theres some guy with 26's on his I personaly dont like it but thats what he wants and I want to keep the tall tire up front just need to know what would work with the back wile still keeping the with 285
You're larger than OEM.... you need smaller tires.

There really isn't a tire that's going to have the correct oversized outside diameter that will work properly and not rub. You would be better off buying the correct front tire size than trying to get another incorrectly sized rear tire on there.
