Your front tires are extremely tall, and while you don't want to size down the tires up front, you probably should!

Hate to be the one to tell you but you need to get the right tires. The diameters of your current tires are different by 3% which is where the VDC starts to have issues.Originally Posted by TeamAmigosG35

You're larger than OEM.... you need smaller tires.

If you're running 285s in the rear right now you could size down the sidewall height on the fronts and still keep the rear tires. Originally Posted by TeamAmigosG35

There really isn't a tire that's going to have the correct oversized outside diameter that will work properly and not rub. You would be better off buying the correct front tire size than trying to get another incorrectly sized rear tire on there.

They shouldn't rub at stock height. Oh, and get the RIGHT size tire...

I'm not understanding this part, please elaborate on how that matters. Originally Posted by TeamAmigosG35

And this will provide your answer: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html. The difference between the overall diameter of the tires must be smaller then 3%.
