TPMS light

Don't rush into the "Stealership" unless you need to!
Recommended tire pressure for our tires is 35 psi, drop by a tire store and ask them to check your tires. They'll do it for free since they're in the tire biz, most of those little hand gauges aren't accurate. Once you're sure you have the correct tire pressure you can go from there. I have a sensor that acts up after I've driven 30 miles at high speed. Doesn't make a sound just shows up on my dash but it's so infrequent I do my best to ignore the damn thing....Gary

Blinking light for 60 seconds means a system fault of some sort. It's not a pressure issue.
A tire pressure issue would be a solid light when you turn the car on.
More than likely, a TPMS battery has died. They are not replacable, so you'll need to snag a new TPMS now.
My luck, this happened to me this AM. Tire pressure light came on, i drove for 10 mins and then it started blinking. Now it blinks for 60 secs upon startup signaling an system error.

TPMS replacement
How much do they cost? Can I install it myself or does the work need to be done at the dealership? If I change it out does the car need to have a/the code cleared? I am new to the G35 (just bought a 2006) and am trying to get up to speed on the idiosyncracies of this beautiful car.

When I bought my car the TPMS light would come on after 15-20 minutes of driving. I've had the pressure inflated twice. I've had the alarm sound get me twice too, and both were on cold mornings. The sound I do understand, as the pressure was lower because of the temperature. Recently I installed a set of coilovers and lowered the car, and now the light comes on and stays on like before for the entirety of my drive. Basically the light just comes on and stays on, no blinking of any sort. From what I've read this must mean that my pressure is wrong, or I need to take it to the dealership to get checked. Is this correct? The damn light is driving my OCD crazy, being an exclamation mark and all.

This just happened to me the other night... I checked my pressures and they were just a few pounds low. I adjusted all the tire pressures but the light remains lit!
When the car is started up, it blinks for the first min (or so), so from what I read here it must be a system issue. Is there a way to find out which sensor has faulted (without going to dealer)???
Also if the batteries on these things die out, wouldn't getting used ones be a bad idea? There would be a possibility of the batteries dying on the used set too!!
BTW... I also tried the 40PSI trick that has been mentioned on other threads and that did not work. I get no beeps, just the initial blinking light then solid, and this is on a 2006 6MT Coupe.
