The G2 kit is the way to go. You can get it different places but the tire rack where I got mine.

tire rack

I painted them on my CL. The kit is easy to use and looks great. The only catch is you'd better paint them quick because the paint will harden in a hurry.

Kinda spendy isn't it? I just bought some engine paint at the local auto parts store for a few bucks. I did this with my other car too, and it's been over 6 years since I painted the calipers. All I did for upkeep was to spray the calipers with the garden hose when I wash the car, and the calipers are still purty

FWIW, I know people that used oven paint, because those come in all sorts of cool colors. And those can be rated up to 900 degrees as well.

Ya it's kind of expensive. I tried the engine paint and after a couple of months it start to look like sh*t. The G2 kits with the glossy finish is worth it IMO.

I used brake caliper paint by Plasti-cote from the local parts store. It was inexpensive and has provided a nice finish. For cleaning, I just wipe them down with car soap when washing the car and use a soft towel for drying. Preparation is the key to a good finish. I used a Dremel, files and sandpaper to clean up the casting flashing and smooth out the bumpy surface.
