Michelin Super Sports

Just wanted to say these tires are absolutely 10/10 quality. Best tires I have had on the G easily. Currently running 255/275 on my ce28s. The grip compared to Kumho ecsta spt and Toyo T1r (my last 2 sets of tires) is absolutely incredible! I can hardly spin the tires anymore even if I nail it from a stop around a turn! I was hesitant to drop so much money on tires, but after the reviews I saw I couldn't resist. Anyone looking to get a new set of tires for summer these are well, well worth the money. Also, I hear the wear is great too which was a huge issue for me (I have about a 1" drop) with the Toyos not so bad with the Kumhos.

I was reading through a Porsche forum and those generally are the preferred tire for those that go to the tracks. When its time for new tires I'll give these a try.

I agree. By far the best tire in its class across the board. Not one complaint yet!

Best tire I have ever owned. Awesome grip with a good treadwear rating.

How are these against re-11s for higher power applications? Ie: 450+ hp/tq...

I know some of it is subjective but are they basically similar class tires?

You can't go wrong with these tires. I don't believe i've ever read a bad review about these tries. I was doing a lot of reading about summer tires and it seemed they blew all other summer tires away as far as others reviews were concerned..

Bought Michelin PS2s for SLICK, the rears lasted 26K miles but didn't expect much better with a UTQG of 140 and still have them on my front. Replaced the PS2s with Pilot Super Sports, should get 30k miles wear since their UTQG is 300. Replacing the fronts my end of summer. Love my Michelin's and they look

The hopping is caused by your suspension not the tires rowlette. I quit the drag race thing at least 15 years ago running Chevy's and GTOs which have to totally different rear suspension than our Gs. We used slapper bars and cheater slicks along with posi differentials to eliminate the wheel hop. You need a posi differential and run soft tires so she'll hook up.
