Which one ( DPE, Piaa's or Iforged )

Hey Guys,
Want to get another set of 20" wheels. Was planning on powder coating the centers on my 20" Iforged evo, but not possible, unless sent directly to Iforged. Need something with Black centers, so the the ones Im looking at are DPE RO7 V6, DPE R16, Piaa Super Rozzas now available in 20" in " Super Black ", or the new Iforged Emotions in gloss black. Let me know what you guys think would look good in my Black G.

why not PC yours... you dont need to send them to intro....they just tell you that.
looks to me that ur 20" iforged evo are 3 peice.. so all u need to do is:

take off car,
release air,
disassemble bolts(works best if you find a tool to fit front... put it so that its fixed(put a towel on lip and put the socket end so it rests against lip causeing it not to move)
get a air wrench for quickness or w/e else floats boat(impact helps to release locktight on nuts)

take off all nuts on back, remove bolts carefully..

take centers out(u released air so that when u undid middle pressure didnt seperate the 2 peices of hoop)

the inners should slide out the front.. carefull take them out (on my SSR i taped off lip w/ clear plastic tape(the kind that comes on lip w/ no adhesive)

then take em to a powdercoater.... i mean the PC'er can take em apart but if you do it urself and just take centers to them.. its like 30$ max per inner... otherwise they'll charge like 150ea to take apart...

other than that id go w/ iforged emotion.. or look into "intro's" other line ups besides DPE ...look at J-line

i used to have J-line 19x9.5 front w/ regular lip and 20x10.5 rear w/ stepped lip(both inners were 19" but rears had a second lip www.jlinewheels.com) i wish i had pics but its pimp... you could prolly do 20x9.5 front reg lip and 22x10 in rear if your risky(idk if 265/30/22 would fit....they fit snug ona SL merc but idk G...

hope i could be of help
riley

Hey Riley,
Yeah I did take my wheels to a shop and they later found out the centers are welded on. So they are 2 piece wheels. Yes Im also considering J-line wheels.

Hey,
Great to hear you bought those DPE R16's, dont forget to post pix. Having a hard time deciding which wheels to go with next. Right now its between DPE RO7 or the J-Line 20rl or sdmsl2. The Piaa kinda looks similar to stock 19's.

I kind of lean toward the PIAA for some reason. You might want to also look at the RH Evolution J5.

Despite the PIAA's being gorgeous, I don't know if I'd get the PIAA's in 20's. If I were to get 20" rims, I'd prefer to get forged rims instead of cast rims.

The PIAA's are pretty light for cast wheels. The weight's according to piaa are:

19X9: 24.25
19X10: 25.75

I'm assuming 20's would add about 2 lbs to each wheel. Still not too bad for cast wheels though.
