Slip light comes on when turning at higher speeds along with a loud noise in front.

Afew days ago I went and got my rear shocks replaced along with new tires. I only changed the back tires because the front ones were still good. My front tires are a different brand from my rear ones now. Anyways, after I got all this replaced I was taking an exit ramp off the interstate at around 65-70 and the slip light starts to flash and there is a loud kinda humming vibrating noise coming from either the front right or left tire (It depends on which way I'm turning). Also I noticed that my steering Isn't as stiff and direct as it was before. It's alot more loose and easier to turn. It's pretty shaky at higher speeds too. Does anybody know what could be wrong?

It sounds like an alignment issue to me, but that's only a guess. Was there a realignment done after the shock replacement? If the height changed or something in the camber/toe was moved while replacing the shocks that will change the feel of the car.
What size tires are you running front and rear? That could have an impact as well.

Yupp, on awd models it is extremely important to have matching tires.

The alighnment is a huge factor when thus issue occurs. If you have coilovers and the adjustment is not leveled properly it can cause this too. This is a dangerous problem when at high speed cornering. I had a rear coil seat issue and was found because of this sane issue. My abs and traction control became active in a corner that I took everyday for several years and it was a hell of a battle to get out of that situation. Almost lost the g that day. I knew something had to be wrong because it had never happened.found the coilseat had moved and the spring was compressed in the wrong location of the adjustment hat. All better now
