20 staggered rims on sedan?

will a 20 inch rim with staggered fitment work on a sedan? I keep getting different stories, depending on who I talked too. If they will work what off set will I need and what tire size will I need? Does anyone have any pictures of a sedan with 20 inch staggered set up? Please help

IMO, 20's get into weight issues and lack of tire compliance, adding to this is the oem suspension's not so wonderfull shock control, make sure you "have" to have that look. I don't see the point in staggered setup's on these cars either, other then for looks or maybe for high speed race track work where your tunning needs require it.

That being said, a quick scan of 20" tire sizes for a staggered setup
245/35-20 Bridgestone S-03 26.7" rolling diameter
275/30-20 Bridgestone S-03 26.5" rolling diameter

245/35-20 Michelin Pilot sport A/S 26.6" rolling diameter
275/30-20 Michelin Pilot sport A/S 26.5" rolling diameter

Your rim/offset requirements for staggered would be 20x8.5 38mm and 20x9.5 45mm min 55mm max.

IMO, you would be best served with a 19" setup of 255/35-19's all the way around on 19x8.5 43mm with a 5mm spacer on the front or 245/40-19's all the way around on 19x8 35mm to 45mm or 19x8.5 on 40mm.

I ordered my 20x8.5 front +38 and 20x9.5 rears +44, don't have pictures cause I'm still waiting for them to come in. I'll be getting 255/35 for the rear and have 245/35 for the front - originally ordered 275 for rear, but never came in . . .

If you run 19, 19x8.5 +38 (245/35) and 19x9.5 +42 (275/30) was what I ran - fit was perfect with no rubbing.

Have an extra set of new falken st-115 245/35-20 if you're interested in purchasing tires.

20" staggered WILL FIT but I will recommend 19" on Sedan though
