Inner thread wear front tires

My g35 sedan 03 has has an inner thread wear problem for the last year. my front inner tires wear very fast! So far ive changed the inner/outer tie rods and lower front control arm assembly also, Ive had 3 alignments in the last year all which have checked out ok per the mechanics.

My front tires are still wearing abnormally on the inside, i have winter and summer sets, of rims /tires and they are both shot, the cars wheel never pulls and it always drives straight. Has anyone had this kind of problem with any car in the past? I don't know where to even look at this point and even though the car has 90,000mi im tired of replacing working original parts and the cost between tires and parts and labor is piling up, please help, thanks.

Since you've already done the lower control arms, look into compression rods, specifically the compression rod bushings. Mine are torn, and there's plenty of other threads popping up lately about the same issue. OEM bushings can be purchased for ~$25 each, or you can replace the whole arm.

A well respected mechanic who has fixed these bushings explained it like this: Worn/torn compression bushings will align okay, or you may have noticed caster being out of spec, however at highway speeds the wheels will toe out - causing inner tire wear.

I have the same tire wear problems. Additionally, the car judders when braking.

When I was rotating the tires last weekend I checked the compression rod bushings and can se they are torn. So I'm going to fix that. Now I start reading more about people replacing the lower control arms. Do they tend to go out like the compression rods? I never looked at them too much after finding the other issues.

I bet the compression rods fix the issue.

Normal alignment mostly checks the tires with the wheels pointed straight ahead. Your issue is probably occuring when you turn due to the compression rod failing to keep proper geometry through the turn.

Would a worn/bad tie rod end cause excessive wear on the inner tire as well?

Invalid_User says that it more or less might fix a clunk and strengthen up your suspension. Compression rod keeps the wear from happening during turning.

I already replaced all that with the new set of control rods anyway+ alignments. I was wondering if there is anything else I could check at this point the only thing I think I havent havent changed is the suspension and its getting very costly between parts labor and tires.

Have you figured out your issue yet?

Also, I didn't completely follow: did you replace the compression rods or not?

I'm asking because I'm having the same problem! I have a 2004 G35 Sedan with EXTREME inner front tire wear. I just bought tires last September and the front inside are completely bald. That's within 8 months! I mean, I was doing a long commute there for awhile, but I couldn't have driven more then 10,000 to 15,000 miles in that time.

Looking underneath, you can see the bushings of the lower control arms are torn, but could that be the problem? I don't know if the compression rods/bushings are also bad. I'm going to get an alignment, and as usual, I'm sure the camber is out, but there's not much I can do about it. Do I need a camber kit or do you think replacing the compression rod and/or the control rods will do the trick?

I can't afford to get too crazy.... I also have multiple oil leaks including a rear main seal. AND my rack and pinion is leaking. Any advice would be awesome! Out of everything, what's upsetting me most is this damn tire wear!
