Spacers effect car (shake)

Hey guys,

When i bought the car, it already had wolfrace alloys on there, but had spacers on both the front and rear wheels. At normal speeds it feels fine, but if i put my foot down especially at higher speeds, i can feel the car start to "shake" and the steering feels as if its on ice...is there any particular reason for that? Is there any way of keeping the spacers and stopping that or will i have to go out and purchase wider tires?

thank you

Cant see the wheels They could be Out of round. If they are aftermarket wheels you need to have hubcentering rings installed on the wheels. If your spacers are not hubcentric you will vibrate at high speeds. Hubcentric spacers pretty much keep the wheel centralized to the axle.

Remove a wheel and see if you have hubcentric rings installed. Post pix if you are unsure of what to look for so we can help you out.
