New SSR MKIII Neo on G?

I saw on the more-japan blog that SSR is making like a throwback style rim but in big kid size now? I'm guessing Orange/Red isn't the only color.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I'm gonna go with no. looks good in the small size on old school cars, but the bigger size just looks strange. the formula mesh though...

As much as I love SSR, those wheels don't work...at least on a G

Right, but at least not a red wagon wheel. IDK.

Dude that wheel is crazy hot. It's different and the color sitting on the white G37 with that stance is killing it. Forget the nay sayers and pull the trigger on this. I just found me a new wallpaper.

well i don't mean to tell you not to do you. I've always been one to march to the beat of my own drum, but when asking for opinions I'm not a fan. Again I find the formula mesh as one wheel that really translates well to modern styling. I mean...

Thumbs up Good Choice

I'm a fan of the mesh wheel as well and the wheels on the black coupe are gorgeous. They took a traditional style and made it better. If the rims on the white coupe were black or silver I would agree with you but, seeing how they chose a non traditional color that's what sets the wheel apart. There are times when flirting with danger is a good thing and looking at those rims on that white coupe I'd say he nailed it.

eh...agree to disagree I guess. I think the Mesh are a more timeless design that flow better to the bigger size, and modern cars, where the Mk3 just fails to do so. but they look fuking awesome on the old school cars:

I was referring to those wheels being silver or black not working on that white G37. That old school corolla is a horse of another color all together.

I was referring to you saying that they nailed it with this wheel. regardless of the color I still don't think the design works in a bigger size. it looks much better in the smaller size like on the corolla
