Tire set up for g35 coupe- confusing

2003 g35 coupe new owner... i need tires and looking at 245 40 18 and 275 40 18 (r). i do not want to modify or lower the vehicle and just needing to know if this set up will work? ( i also heard 275 35 18 matches the front set up i m looking for)... so confused...
