Ordering today, need opinions on offsets quick!

I'm getting Privat Profil wheels, 8.5 +30 in front and 9.5 +25 in back.

My other option for the rear is 9.5+40. Which of these offsets are better for our cars? It's stock height (and probably will be forever) so rubbing isn't a big concern, I just want them to fill the wells better than my stock 19's do. Also, does the offset affect the lip size, or is it dependant on the BACK of the face?

To fill up wheel well, go with +25. If you use wider than stock tires, it may
look a tad lifted, but your car is already 1/2" lower than a stock 04', right?
Should look okay.

The offset does affect lip size.

edit: attached is a pict "positive offset" is what you are referring to
+25, +40. The +40 will have smaller lip than +25, typically. My head is
not working today due to the flu...

I believe +25et is the safest offset for coupe. +40 for rear might be too tucked-in and lose some lip size. +40 is more of sedan offset.

I got them in gloss black. They are sitting at my house waiting to be mounted, but I won't be home until Easter weekend to have it done. I'll post pics when they're on.

Ahh good deal. Your fronts will sit in there the same as stock but your rears will have a nice lil lip on them. We have huge wheel wells on these cars, I know we can swallow up at least an 11.5 in the rear. I just put 10.5's on my car with a 23 offset and still have plenty of room left. I noticed that you originally posted a couple weeks ago. Do you have the wheels already? How do they look? Im interested to see pics as these are wheels that I also considered.

Watch the video on Privat's website. It shows the black finish on a silver Z. i think it looks great. I got the wheels and tires, but I'm out of town until next week. I have an appointment to have them mounted next Friday, I'll post pics when I can.

I wouldn't worry about the CF hood at all. On a side note, I saw a brand new Porsche 997 last week in SoCal with wheels that looked exactly like these (they were probably some more expensive brand, but looked the same). It was one of the best looking Porsches I've ever seen.
