Since 2014 nobody could get decent wheels on my car because it is hard to figure it out possibly?
At this point this is the deal made after being told “they will fit.” When the wheels where put on I got home and noticed after a long day they had spacers, again..
www.tourenwheels.com
Would I need spacers to put 20x10 all around? Probably, don’t like spacers.
There is a chart there stating 2 options one they got wrong with the 20x8.5, I wasn’t looking for anything special that is why I am not too happy.
The offset is on 20.8.5 is 35 with a backspace of 6.13 with a hub of 72.62 touren TR70 (3270) Silver/Milled Spokes
The 20x10 is also hub72.62 offset 40, with backspace 7.07 or something.
You really have to know the program to do the math and he said he went do it, but like I stated, I got home and the little silver thing was on with the brakes chipped again, I know, my fault, na, I was standing there “in space” and thinking no way they will get this on, I was looking at the wheel in the store, shaking my head.
Other brands expensive or not this style or not will be appreciated that you could recommend that you know fits the brembo and be tight, with some info would help, it’s all good. That way I don’t have to put up with these guys.
Caliper clearance for wheels is very wheel spoke/design specific and less about the general specs.
As an example:
Enkei RPF1 in 18x9.5 +38 will not clear Brembo or Akebono
Gramlights 57DR 18x9.5 +38 will clear both calipers
Both have the same exact specs but opposite clearances. The only way would be to confirm with the manufacturer (sometimes they dont know either), or try to find examples of others who have bought the same wheel.
Some companies give information about face profiles base on the width and offset combination (Low face, medium face, high face; or use the term disk)
The touren people said you can’t get it right no matter what with a big brake kit, you have to take a wheel and try it on with Brembo brakes there are too many things to figure.
Like the above post says “you can just find the same wheel on the same car with them brakes.”
That is just as tough, with all the fake internet pictures vs money and sales pitches.
The wheel I got has a 35 offset, they come in 20, 35, and 30 offset, they are a quarter inch off with the 35 offset with a hub 76.62 on 20 inch.
I still wouldn’t know if the 20 would clear without a second opinion, it is not a one man thing.
Just to have an honest opinion about mechanics is not that important or won’t make no difference in a dudes life.
I say sell everything the right way, then you wouldn’t have all that talk going on.
Would anyone know if the other sizes fit for the 20inch TR70 | Silver/Milled Spokes on www.tourenwheels.com, to get rid of 1/4 inch spacer? Would the 20inch 20 offset be to much hub? Ie “delete” the 1/4 inch spacer??
