Best Performance Tire?

Posed this question in the coupe section with little response. What do you guys think is the best performance tire? Heard alot of great things about the BFG g-force KDW's and Toyo T1's. Which tire in your opinion offers the best combination of performance, lightweight, lowest road noise etc.?

The BFG KDW's are good but the max performance tire you are probably referring to are the plain old KD's. The KDW's are for dry and wet. But yeah, as far as top of the line performance street tires go the BFG KD's, the Toyo T1-S or T1-R, or the Bridgestone Potenza SO-3's are popular choices. There may be a few that I'm missing.

The guy at the tire shop told me that my stock Pilot Sports are the best tires made.

Best for performance? Then I would have to disagree with the guy at the tire shop. Don't get me wrong. The Pilot Sports are very good summer performance tires but they are still a little bit behind the other tires I mentioned above.

The new Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 is supposed to be much better than the old Pilot Sports according to surveys at TireRack.
