Angry Had to lock up the brakes today.. my brakes squeak again

I went out for a spirited drive today after installing my k&n drop in and my motordyne spacer. Anyways to make a long story short I was on a road I wasnt very fimiliar with, goin about 60 mph. In a spilt second I realized where I was (coming up to an intersection and didnt realize becuase someone hit the stop sign and it was poiting toward the sky.) So without even thinking I locked up the brakes coming to a really hard stop (definately the hardest Ive ever hit the brakes) and was about 5 feet into the intersection. (no cars were coming, thank the lord) Well it scared the Shi* out of me so I took it easy on the way home but now I'm experiencing the squeal I used to hear when the car was new when I'm almost to a full stop I got 16k on my stock pads + rotors and Im hoping I dont have to replace them but does anyone know if locking up the brakes hard just that once will lead to them needing to be replaced? I was having a blast with my new mods and that wasnt the best way I wanted to end my spirited drive. Any brake gurus please shed some light.

No, you probably just glazed the pads a bit. Try re-bedding them as per the procedure in the FAQ. If that doesn't work, you may need to pull out the pads, scuff them a bit with some sandpaper, and then put them back. Then re-bed them.

I think you're fine. a couple of 60mph- 0 isn't going to kill the brembos.
