Want to lower about 1"

I really don't want to go any lower as the winter here in Chicago can tend to tear up the roads. I've never modded a car before though so I am trying to get some advice. Right now I have been looking at Eibach Coil Kit or Tein H-Tech.
Also, can someone explain this to me: Tokico DSpec/Tein H-Tech Kit.

Can anyone give me an idea of what the difference is between the two, what else I might need to go with it, and an idea of install cost.

I am not looking for a much stiffer ride but I would like to reduce the body roll a bit while getting rid of the fender gap.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

We have both the 350Z H tech's and G35 coupe H techs in stock. As for the difference between the tokico D spec/ tein h tech. Basically that is just a kit that comes with the tokico D spec shocks. Good shocks btw.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Another option would be the RSR Ti2000s if your looking for a mild drop and a mostly linear spring (1 or 2 progressive coils i believe)

Are you in a sedan or a coupe? If your in a sedan I would suggest either trying to get someones OEM revised 04+ 350Z springs/shocks or an OEM '05 G35 coupe sports suspension. The 350Z suspension will drop you 1" and the '05 coupe suspension will drop you 1/2". Both will give you that better handling ride without sacrificing much comfort. Fair warning though, some of the early '04 350Z's did not get the revised suspension so to be really sure you have to check the part numbers. PM Gsedan35 for those part numbers. Both of these solutions should be obtainble for no more than $250 at the very highest. For more money you could get Tokico D-Spec or Koni adjustable shocks and pair them up with the appropriate spring like the Tein H-Techs made for the 350Z.

In that case I'd suggest Tokico D-Spec or Koni shocks and Tein H-Techs for the 350Z. Spring rate of 358/375 and drops around .8/.7 inches on the coupe.

The Hotchkis springs are good too and have a good linear spring rate. The drop numbers below are for a 350Z so you have to add about 1/2" for the coupe.

Front Front 9/16" (15mm) Drop
340 lbs/in
Stock 310lbs/in

Rear 3/4" (19mm) Drop
330 lbs/in
Stock 350 lbs/in
