best looking stock 17in wheels/tires???

I added 1inch H&R spacers to my back wheels.

It too alittle getting used to but I love it now!!!!!!

Also dropped the rear by ~ 1 inch, by using 350z springs & cutting the upper spring bushing.

I'm running 275/40 r17's on the back & 255/45 r17 on the front.

funny..... the drop does not look as much in the pictures as it does in person, but the curve of the wheel well echo's the tire curve just right(IMO). Not too low or slammed but not SUV high looking, like stock.

After adding the 1 inch or 25.4mm spacers in the back, did you get longer wheel studs? Because if you didn't, you're probably not getting much thread onto those lug nuts which is dangerous. Also what's the width of those stock 17in wheels front and rear?

these spacers have new wheel studs already on them. You "bolt" the spacer onto your hub using included nuts/bolts. Then you bolt your rims to the spacers using you original lugs nuts!

I have 8in wide rims all the way around.

A 275 wide tire calls for a 9-11 inch wide rim. Seems like it would really bulge on a 8 inch wide rim. Doesn't look too bad in your pics but then again those aren't the best angled shots. I'd be a bit careful about that.

I'll try for some better angle tomorrow. I've actually stopped & looked at vettes & mustangs that have this tire & the sidewall looks pretty much the same. Slight curve, but not a bulge that you'd might expect. I regularly drive sportingly around corners, feel great. I've also auto-crossed in them once this year, nice tires. I'm doing a road race this weekend at VIR. Yet another real world test!
