Finally got the drop! TEIN BASICS!! **PICS**

Yay!! Tein Basic Coilovers!! Yay!

First off I want to thank Tom from Gruppe-S for making this whole thing easy. I've dealt with a couple lousy dealers/vendors before, but Gruppe-S showed real customer service. I would recommend them to everybody here.

Now here's the low down. I pulled up into Gruppe-S parking lot and measured all 4 of my rims from the top of the rim to the fender edge. I know it's probably not the most accurate way to measure, but it's all I have. As soon as it was done, I measured it again from the same places. Keep in mind I have 19x9 +26 front with 245/35 tires, and 19x10 +20 rear with 275/35 tires. The camber doesn't look too bad, but then again I just got it done 4 hours ago. No fender rubbing. It definitely handles better/stiffer. I love this drop! Here are the results...

Rear Driver side = (.5 inch)

Before = about 4.25 inches
After = about 3.75 inches

This side was already a different height to begin with. I'm going to have to adjust them when I get a chance.

The ride feels the same to me except when making turns. It feels like it's hugging the road more. It feels stiffer, but overall I say it feels like stock ride, but firmer turns. Thanks.

(CarFanatic56- hows the ride comfort now with them on?)
It feels pretty much like stock but with a bit firmer feel when driving and turns. It's definitely has to do with the stiff springs (503lbs).

(FrankieB- you better check your camber i can see that it is off a little..looks good!! )
You got that right. I can tell my front is a bit off so now onto the part I was dreading...the Camber kit! I'm going to let it settle in for about a week or two, and see how close I can get it into specs without the kit.

I picked mine up from Gruppe-S in Hayward, Calipornia for $780 (tax/shipping all included)

WORTH EVERY PENNY! I can't stop looking out my window to see my babies new stance!
