Stock 19's, but sport suspension....I am unsure of which suspension you have. If you don't have the sports tuned suspension expect your gap to be a bit bigger. For me its about an inch and a half of a gap in the front, and an inch gap in the back with the stock staggered (bigger) tire size...enjoy.

Just got a set of 19s installed on my G w/ stock suspension. It's about 2 finger gap all the way around. Check out the suspension section of the forum for pics.

Thanks for the input... i have an 03' w/ sport tuned suspension... 225/45/18 Front and 245/45/18 Rear....i am hoping that when i get my 19's that i wont have a big gap because i dont want to mess with the suspension....

Make sure you post some pictures after your G has the new wheels on it, I'm also very interested in doing the same setup as you real soon (19" aftermartket wheels on the stock suspension). Kinda curious how it look and drive, hate to spend tons of extra money on coilovers, camber arms, and mutliple alignments just to lower it an extra inch or two. So, if your G has the sport tuned suspension, it's alreadly lower than the other models?
Thanks

I've seen plenty of pics on here with 19's & no drop and mostly likely your going to have a decent sized gap depending on the profile of the tire you go with. If your the type that doesnt like a gap then I would suggest looking into springs or coilovers

When I went to the dealer to drive a 05 coupe with the new sport suspension, I also went with a tape measure to compare the ride height to the regular suspension coupes. They are the same ride height, so the answer to the question is, the gap will be the same as you have now unless you go the unadvised route of altering tire diameters.

so the sport tuned suspension has nothing to do with the ride height??? i have looked in the sticky threads for pics but most of the time they dont list if they have stock or aftermarket suspension.... post pics if anyone has some!!! thanks!!!

Thats funny, I always thought (and heard) that the sports tuned suspension rides a bit lower than the regular...why would it be a stiffer ride then?

That's why I brought along a tape measure, the eye's aren't alway's the best judge, the tape measure alway's settles the debate. I think people think it's lower and the 19's help make it look that way, just a thought. I measued a 04 coupe they had on the lot and then measured the 05 coupe I'd just driven with the sport suspension, absolutely NO differance in the ride height's between the two suspensions. The 05 coupe sport suspension rides stiffer because it uses stiffer shocks, and stiffer rear springs (sway bars are also stiffer).

That's why I have my sig setup the way it is, I really wish everyone would take a moment to make one. One thing that doesn't help is that several coupe owners believe they have the sport suspension's on their 03 or 04 cars, which is impossible since only 05's can have them and only if the car came with oem 19's.
