Difference between 03 and 04 brakes

I have an 04 coupe Non Brembo. Is there a difference between my brakes (actually 04.5) and the 03's? The reason I ask is because i was ordering wheels and they said that I may need a spacer on the front because the 04's came with bigger brakes. I think that they are full of it. Also, will it screw up my vdc if I put 19x9 on the back and 18x8 onb the front? THanks

Dave

There is no difference between the '03 and '04 brakes. The difference came in the '05's.

'05 Sedan and Coupes
Front: 12.6-inch X 1.1-inch power-assisted
Rear: 12.1-inch X .63-inch power-assisted vented disc

'03 and '04 Sedans
Front: 11.7-inch X 0.9-inch power-assisted vented disc
Rear: 11.5-inch X 0.6-inch power-assisted vented disc

'03 and '04 Non-Brembo Coupes
Front: 11.65-inch x 0.94-inch power-assisted vented disc
Rear: 11.5-inch x 0.63-inch power-assisted vented disc

Thanks. That's what I thought.
