$$$ aftermarket wheels, installed tires with 'touchless' machine?

figured that folks with expensive rims would install their tires with that eauropean 'touchless' manchine, or whatever that machine is called. anyone know of a reputable one in the walnut/diamond bar area? tia.

they used it for mine last week, its pretty cool, be careful tho, it messed up my volk racing stickers on my GT7s because they put it face down on a rubber disc so it wont get scratched but the pressure wrinkled up the sticker, i cant catch a break with those damn stickers. now i cant find anybody that has them. the machine is cool tho.

what about using an impact wrench? should you avoid using one in favor of a shop that manually tightens the lugnuts?

You dont need touchless, just a guy that knows what hes doing! I worked at a tire shop a few months back. The guy that did all the mounting was fuggin good! He never scratched a rim in the six months I was there.

Absolutely! Never let them near your wheels with an impact. I also request that the tech use a manual wrench when taking off the wheels. I don’t like an impact beating on the lug nuts to loosen them.

I think just about every shop these days has a torque wrench for tightening, just ask them.
