Question Help with installing Hawk brake pads on Sedan

I'm trying to install a set of Hawk "Performance Ceramic" (not HP) brake pads on the front of my Sedan today. However, the set that Tire Rack sent me only has clips on two of the 4 brake pads. The factory pads have clips on all the pads (at least on the drivers side as that is as far as I have gotten). The part # they sent me is HB268Z.665. This appears to be the correct part #, however, the pads w/o the clips don't fit very well. Do the passenger side pads not have clips?

You use one pad with- one pad without clips per side.....I think the inboard pads are the ones without the clips.

Yep, that's exactly the way I installed them. I went around the block to bed them in. So far, so good. No squealing.

If you have squealing problems they make a peteroleum jelly like substance to put on the pads to prevent/stop the squealing.

I just insatlled these 2 weekends ago. Yeah, only 2 of 4 pads have the metal clips. It's the warning thing that'll squeak when it gets closer to the rotor. It does nothing for performance, just make sure you each wheel has at least 1 pad with the clip

I just wanted to post back here in case somebody is doing a search on this topic. The new pads are great! I would say dusting is reduced by about 90%. The front and rear (stock pads) now produce the same amount of dust. No squealing and the stopping power is the same, if not better than the factory pads. Keep in mind these are the "Performance Ceramic" and not the HPS pads.
